Colonist.io is a new browser game with an amazing concept! It’s a virtual space civilization game where players can start their own colony, build cities and construct settlements.

You play as a governor whose job is to lead your people in colonizing the planet. Your country needs resources and you will try to find them everywhere – from forests to the seas and the land itself.

The gameplay of Colonist.io reminds me of a few Civilization games and even more of Clash of Clans or any other mobile game that deals with resource management, city building, managing resources, etc. It might look complicated when you first see it but once you get started it becomes really simple to understand and manage.

In order to succeed in this game, you will have to be able to build buildings according to the available resources at your disposal; if there are no resources, then it’s better not to build anything and wait for the next settler ship instead. Another important thing is that your colonists need food; which means that you will have to farm something from the land or from another player who has already done it so that they can share it with everyone else who needs it as well.
