Create and Customize Your Clan

When you start a new game, ClanGen allows you to randomly generate a new Clan, complete with a roster of unique cats, each with their personality traits, skills, and histories. You can also customize names, appearances, and ranks, shaping your ideal Clan from the beginning or letting randomness take the lead. Some players enjoy naming their Clan members and imagining deep backstories for them, while others prefer to watch the stories naturally emerge from the game’s systems.

Watch the Story Unfold

Once your Clan is established, time begins to pass in moons (months), and your Clan’s story begins to take shape. Cats grow older, form relationships, gain or lose skills, and experience major life events, such as becoming apprentices or leaders, having kits, forming rivalries, or even dying. These stories often feel organic and personal, giving the player a strong sense of attachment to their cats.

While much of the story is procedurally generated, players can influence decisions along the way. You may choose which cats to mentor apprentices, send patrols into the forest, or even decide how to handle conflicts and territory disputes.
